Tickled Pink Joelle is ONE

My children share a birthday (August 10th) 6 years apart. I was looking through old photos as we begin planning their upcoming parties. Joelle's first birthday was a Tickled Pink Party because everything about her first year was pink! After 6 years of blue I was so happy to paint the world pink. And she still loves pink which I'm afraid will change any day now!

We invited everyone over with an invite saying we were tickled pink Joelle was ONE!

I made a balloon wreath for the front door with a number 1 on it. It's so easy to do, just twist unfilled balloons and stick into a styrofoam wreath with stick pinks. Continue until the whole thing is covered then add a ribbon to hang.

I was so excited I found this vintage highchair at an antique store. I painted it pink and added a banner. Now I am KICKING myself I didn't save it. What was I thinking?!?

I made a picture banner with each months pictures and party hats for all the guests.

I love having a book to match the theme at every party. We had a copy of Pinkalicious for all the guests to sign.

Our friend Julie made this amazing cake!

I mean seriously? Look at that toosh! And her birthday twin brother!

Pink pink pink everywhere!

I made "Tickle Monster" books with for each guest to take home. The "Tickle Monster" was a pink duster I found at the grocery store.

We also had a photobooth with fun props...Pink of course!
